No Hiding from Progress: Darryl Gets Back on His Feet

After multiple fractures to his pelvis, shoulder, and wrist, Darryl came to Marquis Plaza Regency facing a long road to recovery. Pain made even simple movements difficult, and for a time, putting weight on his legs wasn’t possible. Despite the challenges, Darryl approached recovery in his own way. He occasionally tried to avoid therapy by hiding from his therapists, but fortunately for Darryl, the team never let him stay hidden for long.

With encouragement from his family, who stayed involved throughout his recovery, and a therapy team committed to helping him reach his goals, Darryl continued to make progress one step at a time. With support fueling his recovery,

• Get in and out of a lifted truck safely
