Bette came to Fairfield Village after a long hospital stay that followed an already difficult battle with cancer, leaving her feeling weak, in pain, and needing significant help with everyday tasks. After months away from home, even simple movements and self-care felt out of reach at the start of her recovery.
With support from physical and occupational therapists Jennie and Cammy, Bette focused on rebuilding strength, progressing day by day from needing assistance with transfers to greater independence.
